Just wait!!!

Post by p.penn »

You wait and see what I got today at work!!! )c( )c( )c(

I have just asked my ever patient neighbour if he will come with me and help me to pick them up - I was going to put the roof of my car down but he said as his car is already trashed we can take his. Hope they fit!

The 'just what I needed fairy' was obviously watching over me today! )c(

They will be great Helen... What are you going to plant in them? Or is it going to be his and hers swiming pools?

I am going to extend my veggies to the car area - not sure what I shall put in them yet. But I was so thrilled with them - I don't think anyone will be able to run off with them once they are full of earth!

{rofwl} No!!! I had clear the top of the coal bunker first of crates and junk, then empty it - it was stuffed full of stuff I haven't even looked at for about 10 years, including a foot of coal at the bottom which I didn't remove, so it was still very very heavy when I dragged it across the concrete. I had to sort through lots of gungy rusted stuff and car shampoos, wine bottles, newspapers etc etc. Then I had to dig out a flat bit from the adjoining hedge so it would fit in, then I had to try to lift the edge of the coal bunker onto a slab before finally getting it in position, and then had lots and lots of earth and twigs to sweep up and compost (6 or 7 trugs of it in the end) and rubbish to sort and bag up and I made bean suppports out of my mini greenhouse frame. Then I had to drag the raised beds (which are very heavy) into position and put stuff back tidily in the bunker then dig out the hedge again as the bins no longer fitted and scrape it all up again and......

Kew gardens - cheeky mare. :b(
