Creating a Magical GardenRe: Creating a Magical GardenWell hopefully, third attempt, this is our garden. One photo of the archway two years ago, pre-pergola, one photo of me with girls last summer, one photo of our gravel area and pots. Garden is so long and narrow, it is impossible to get it all in with any clarity.
Re: Creating a Magical GardenBeautiful, Spreckly!!!! All of them are great but I especially love the 2nd and I want THIS look all over my garden~

Re: Creating a Magical GardenThank you Lillia.
Before we moved to our present home, we only had a small back garden. With three dogs, the best option was paving slabs. The garden was on two levels, with a small retaining wall, and low fence to keep one of the puppies safe. We had a small pond. The garden was in a sunny position, buildings on two sides and a greenhouse partly filled the third side in. All our gardening in the back was in containers, hanging baskets, tubs, etc. I confess that we had garden gnomes as well, which we brought with us. They brightened the gravel area up here, and mingle nicely with the tubs!
