My white-painted kitchen chairs were getting a bit scruffy a couple of years back, so I gave them a sand and repainted. The paint seems to have reacted with what was there before - it is softened and peeling, and they now look even scruffier!
I want to strip them back completely before repainting. I know conventional paint strippers are nasty and toxic. Goggling around, I came across something called Biostrip which is non-toxic. There is a paste version which won't run off the chairlegs.
Anyone tried it and know if it works? Don't want to spend out and find it is rubbish.
