advice needed on fencing

ive managed to get a lot of stock fencing to go around my plot for a really good price and its being delivered tomorrow.

My questions are:

Whats the best way to attach it to the fence posts around the plot?
whats the best way to attach it in order to keep predators and deer out for when i get the chooks. baring in mind the following:
1. ideally i dont want to be digging ditches to put the stuff into - if you know what i mean, i want it to be effective but with the least work possible not because im lazy but because ill be doing it on my own and i have to bare in mind my m.e

2. this is the outer edge of the plot the chickens are going to be fenced in again but for when they are down there on their own, and there is going to be rubble netting over the stock fencing to add protection from the chickens not being able to see predators and protection from the elements

I would attach the stock fence to the posts with Staple nails:

Failing that, if the posts are round instead of square, you could use plastic cable ties:

I tell you what silver back I would never have thought of cable ties and its a great idea!!!!
