Re: Comments ThreadPanteg, ours was always very green although it is what I call a natural pond, no fancy filters. Hubby put barley straw in this year for the first time and it seems to have worked.

Re: Comments ThreadRichard
Quick question on the comp. Does the pic have to be a single one or can it be a compilation one and is there any maximum size of the image you want to limit it to for the forum. Re: Comments Threadall the entries so far are and look like they would be well placed on picture postcards. My garden is so boring and practical and only shows something interesting in spring and autumn. Even the honeysuckle is sulking LOL
Re: Comments Thread
Ours was very cloudy and suddenly cleared itself up overnight once the hornwort got going - it's a native plant so I was quite happy to put it in, I bought a little sprig of it for 30p when I ordered the waterlilies and it has spread like anything. Life's too short to quarrel
Re: Comments ThreadI love that sparrow. And the upright delphinium, reminds me of an A.A.Milne poem about ‘delphiniums blue and geraniums red’. And all those roses, I can almost smell them.
Linda, where is your garden? That’s not an English butterfly, is it? Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html
