Yes, im sure i might have too if she doesn't perk up, funny as she looks the healthiest one out of the four, ill try all you suggested tomorrow and see what happens x

Hiya, thanks for asking, pretty much the same as yesterday, stood of one foot, shutting her eyes, picking at bits of food and water, bit hunched up, what do i do next? :-(

If so next is a vet, if you are concerned.

Yes thank-you, she seems to have perked up a bit this eve have given her one drop of Meta-cam, was advised of this, her poop is looking, what id call normal, not runny, yellow tinged with black and is going regular, added some grapefruit to her water, plenty of greens tonight and she seems much more alert, gave her the bath, which she didnt really enjoy much and tried to jump out!!, and had a feel about in the vent , could not feel anything, however between her legs she is swollen there and hot, id say about cupped handful size swelling, nothing more i can do until monday, hopefully the vet will give me some anti biotics for me to jab her, they did last time when my chicken was poorly, so expensive at our vets would be £39 just to get in the room to see the vet without any meds i may need!!! i will keep you all informed and thanks for any advise x

Hi Hun - I work at a vets - for chook to be seen by our vets is just under £17 for consultation - and I'm always been told we are a dear vets!! Must say my friend Jenny is (in my opinion) an excellent chook vet she is based in Sheffield - for anyone in that area, I could definitely recommend her.

If you need a vets you are at liberty you know to phone around and get an idea of prices for consultation.
