looking for chickens!

hi. i am looking to get two new chickens to add to the two we already have but can't find any for sale. does any one know any where in the rochdale lancs area that has any.
by the way this is a great site i had a load of questions and i ve found the answers by reading the posts. thanks.

There used to be a place just outside Todmorden that sold all sorts of poultry and fowl, but I have no Idea of their name as I only went there once while living on a small farm near Hebden Bridge.

Lovely chap called Alec Walker here in Hudds if you want to come this far... mostly warrens on the hen side, but also has blck rocks fairly regularly, as well as a comprehensive selection of other poultry

thanks. i have rung the lady who does the ex- battery hens i am waiting for her to ring back. if i have no luck i will try either huddersfield(if i could have the address please verity thanks) or preston.
