1 year for me.

Friday may 21nd 2011 i got my first chucks so just about 3 months.

I've been keeping them since last May, I still feel like an absolute novice though

We've had our chooks for three years now.
When I was younger though I lived on a farm and we had 15,000 as well as other livestock.

About 3.5 years I think, though we had around 1 month with 4 cockerels (thanks to Simon) 8 years ago & I spent 9 years of my childhood helping Dad look after hens.

When you get bored with watching them. So assuming you don't get any more hens that could be four years or more from now
