6' x 4' Shed, 12' of Perches and this is what you get!!

'Baldy Bum' is fine by the way, after a year she still hasn't all her feathers, no matter what I do!! Could be it's because these other two sleep on her every night!
On a serious note to newcomers - don't worry if they don't sleep on a perch, they're usually happiest where they are.
Taken at 8.30pm

Shame on you Richard taking a photo of a ladies boudoir

I went up there because I've been curious as to why most of the shed has been so clean. I thought they had been sleeping in the 'Restaurant' shed attached to this one
Now I know.
So, if you want to save time on your cleaning, train them to do this

Ha ha thats so cute! Im really glad you mentioned Richard the fact that we shouldnt worry too much if our chickens dont use their perch. Ive often wondered why my 3 always sleep on top of each other in the nesting box instead of using their perches. My light sussex seems to have more of a dislike towards the perches, as every day after being let out, she goes back in the coop and scrapes at them until they get unhooked and then pretty much kicks them and tosses them until they fall out of the coop door! Has left me wondering if they would prefer me to just remove them seeing as they dont use them at all, but not sure if i should as i know they are supposed to want to roost?
We dont stop playing because we grow old, We grow old because we stop playing !!!
I'd leave them where they are Katie...then if they change their mind at some point they can always go and do it
