Check Your Coops !

My neighbor called in this week with an almost full sack of pellets. He went to let his girls out that morning, only to find the pop hole open and carnage inside. He lost all four girls and was so upset. He has decided not to replace his ladies. He admitted to me that the catch on the pop hole was "pretty ropey " so just a warning to us all.....

Oh, how sad and what a shock he must have had {cry} I couldn't bear the thought of finding something like that in the morning when I went to let them out!

That must be so distressing to find. Heart breaking!
I am now a widow and live with my memories.
