MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'S (PICS ONLY PLEASE)Re: MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'SJust for starters, will add final photos later today once the house has been reduced in size.
I now feel like I'm a grown up chicken keeper
Re: MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'SHere is my chicken coop, i've removed the straw now though and going to get some wood chippings this weekend
Re: MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'SEverything is in place now ... collecting 4 ex-batts on Monday ...
Re: MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'SJust finished this weekend. Decided my girls deserved something better than the junk I got on ebay
Best that could be done with the only shady spot in the garden (beside the garage). They spend most time free-range, but nice to have somewhere with a reasonable amount of dry space come wet winter days. I have to confess I've taken most inspiration from this site and added a good few things that I noted from other people's runs etc. They said "Smile, things could be worse."
So I smiled.................and things got worse. Re: MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'SThe run is almost finished - now just to find a tarpaulin that fits (the first was too small )
Re: MEMBERS CHICKEN COOP PHOTO'SSimple set-up for 5 chicks. These are High Lines bought from Hatton Country World. Next time I'll try ex-bats I think.
