Live a simple life and be happy , Rich.
Re: New turfWhen we had ours laid for us 5 years ago the guy said we had to give it a soaking every day and he would come back in a month to cut it. After a month it was as high as an elephants eye (are you breaking into song ?) and the git reneged and wouldnt come back ! We had to get a local jobbing gardener to do it as it was so long we couldnt use our mower - not happy bunnies !
So dont know the answer really if it gets too long maybe a strim would be best for a first cut , hope someone else comes along soon It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .
