Re: Knee replacementHi Ellie, thanks for asking. Not too bad. Gets very stiff if I sit down for too long and not sleeping very well as it aches at night. Doing the exercises but not liking them Got an app for physio assessment on Monday. I'm wishing my life away at the moment. Just hope its worth it in the end, at the moment I'm pessimistic so any improvement will be good

Re: Knee replacementHang in there Lyn, my dad reckoned it took about 6 weeks for it to feel completely better but once it did it was so much better than before the op

Re: Knee replacementHi Bolly and Ellie. The new knee is settling slowly, though it and my ankles are still swollen Not used a stick for nearly a week now (made me feel so old). So all in all not too bad My back aches more than the knees, spose that's because I'm walking differently and putting strain on other parts of my back.
Thanks for asking, much appreciated LYN
Re: Knee replacementGlad things are beginning to go the right way. I guess it'll take time for your whole body to adjust but am sure it'll be worth it in the end. Take care

Re: Knee replacementHi Bev, Its just physio assessment I'm having but still doing the exercises. I'm cleaning out the chooks etc but have to sit down after a few minutes cos of the pain in my back Daft isn't it when its my knee that's been done. Hope your back is a little easier today

Re: Knee replacementGlad you seem to be going in the right direction - I guess all these things take time - hope the back improves soon

I would ask for physio ASAP as these things take time to arrange. Also you don't want to cause any new problems I have chickens Blaze, Star and Comet, who have met Sunny Clucker in Cheshire :-)
