Bat
BatI was sitting in the Living Room and saw the bats whizzing around outside as they do most evening, so thought I'd try and get a photo.
I took about 20 shots. After 15 showing the odd black blur I got this one. Wonderful creatures aren't they Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: BatThey are fabulous! We have loads flying around outside our living room window on an evening - hubby was amazed as he had never seen them in the flesh.
When I lived in France I got in late one night (or maybe early one morning!) and there was a little bat hanging onto the artexed wall above my bed, snoozing away! It was great to see one so close up - gorgeous little creatures No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell

Re: BatNice piccie, Richard. Not very often you can capture a bat flying.
We have lots of bats round here. We found a baby bat on the barn fllor in one of the stables, so carefully picked it up and put it in a box. We have a local bat person, so rang him and he said it was a long eared baby, took it away but unfortunately it died.
Re: BatFantastic photo Richard.
Maggie Re: BatWonderful little things.
We also have them whizzing around at night http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
