Inherited this small tree. When I moved in 16 months ago. Can any kind person on here tell me what it is please. I am an Dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I lay awake all night wondering if there really is a dog.
Re: Identification. PleaseIs it evergreen?
Does it flower and if so what colour and at what time of year? Dom Ali Woks My World
Re: Identification. PleaseHi totally scrambled.
It is evergreen, and it does not flower. The same all year round as per the photo. Thanks. I am an Dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I lay awake all night wondering if there really is a dog.

Re: Identification. PleaseI am pretty sure this is a rhododendron.
Evergreen, and the rosette clusters of leaves are just like rhododendron. I think of them as big big shrubs but you can get dwarf varieties. It should be giving you a lovely show of flowers each year though, but they do need acidic soil to thrive. If there isn't ericaceous compost in the pot may be it's not entirely happy? Ellie x Oh, apparently some azaleas can look quite similar so check that out as well.
Re: Identification. PleaseI think you may be right ellie - the trunk/branches look very similar to rhododendrons too.
