I usually only make fruit wines but as we have a glut of marrows thought about making wine from some of them. I have found a recipe and will have a go. However, marrows are one of those tasteless veggies, so not really sure about it. The other ingredients for marrow wine besides the usual sugar etc are oranges, lemons and raisins. My grandmother used to make all types of wines from veg which I have been told was very good but never tasted it myself.
It will be an interesting experiment and not much cost involved if not liked. Saying that, there isn't much that OH doesn't like when it comes to wine
