I had an MRI scan this morning on my back which is so painful. I never realised that the scanner was so noisy with really loud thumps and rumbles. I was asked if I would like ear phones on to soften the noise. I said 'no thanks as I might not like the music but have to listen anyway' With a smile the young man jammed them on and said I would need them. Whatever the music was, I couldn't hear it above the pneumatic drill noise but did manage to stay calm.
I have to wait for an appointment from the consultant to see what if anything the scan shows and if anything can be done. Besides my back being painful, my toes are going numb and my spine clicks when I move around, so I imagine that I have nerve problems. As long as I can plod on, I can put up with it but time will tell.
