Was it a bush or a tree, Wendy? The reason I ask is years ago where we lived the streets were lined with trees with similar berries on and I was always told not to put them in my mouth. They were quite squishy when they fell on the floor. Sorry, don't know what tree it was though. Re: Any idea what berries these arePerhaps it is a type of honeysuckle. I seem to remember reading that they are poisonous to chickens.
