Spring/Easter wreathSpring/Easter wreathLast year I crocheted a daffodil for my coat (thanks to Lucy at Atiic 24), and had so many comments about it! I wanted to make a wreath and although not hard, they are fiddly, and me having the patience of a newt, I never got round to it!
So this year, I thought it may be a little easier as I am a little bit more experienced, so put my mind to it! Can't honestly say it was easier, especially when my grandchildren wanted a daff each when they saw them, then a friend came round for coffee and I had to make her one too!! So... in pictures..... And in its final position.... Helen xx

Follow my blog: http://girlontheplot.blogspot.co.uk/ Just make sure my think works are wound extra tight, and I will formulate a plan! Re: Spring/Easter wreathGlad you all like it! I am rather pleased with it although just don't ask what the frame is! I went about it completely the wrong way and over complicated it no end - it was very Heath Robinson
The bottom pic is my front door Ilona! Sadly I took it in overnight as there have been several thefts in the village recently. Seems such a shame but I would be gutted if it went missing Helen xx

In that case I would be very wary of leaving it outside in the daytime as well. After all that work you wouldn't want to lose it. Could you put it inside a window, to be seen from the outside?
Ilona Re: Spring/Easter wreathYes I could put it on the inside of the glass I guess, although sadly, it would lose a certain something I think. I will see.
I have put bells on my gate so they tinkle when someone comes in. Bet the house alarm companies are shaking in their boots with this security innovation Helen xx

Re: Spring/Easter wreathI agree that it looks better where it is in it's frame. I was going to say that it looked good on the mirror, too.
