I've started this thread under this section of the forum as a diary more about gardening in the tropics than specifically about growing your own fruit and veg.
First of all, we have a pretty large garden here in Chalong, Phuket, which is one of the reasons we took this particular house. As part of the rent, we have gardeners come once every 4 weeks to cut the grass and do the general donkey work. They look after the five houses in our street, and as there were six of them today, they race through the job in less than 45 minutes.
All neat and tidy now but the grass here grows so fast here, it will look like a bit of a jungle again when the arrive again next time.
