Ours are very seasonal, between around now and September. There are ones running all year round but they are markets, not boot sales.
We usually have two or three to go to during the summer months, on Sunday and they are brilliant.

Re: Is anyone happy with their body !!! ???I am happy with mine. I just had a major health scare and being the drama queen I didn't know I was, I felt really down. Now I have been reassured that I don't have anything 'orrible, I am so happy to go onwards and forwards. I still feel rubbish and the cure seems to be worse than the disease but I...
Re: Hedgehogs ;-(I fostered hedgehogs for a few years - the ones that were too small to see it through winter. They are lovely creatures but unfortunately are very primitive and not that adaptable. I don't believe that they have got very long before extinction, which is such a shame. Foxes shouldn't pose a problem f...

Against all odds, some of these little tadpoles make it to be frogs. My dog likes to pick them off on the lawn, she thinks they are j...
Re: Rescue dog dilemmaJulie, I am sorry that you have had this experience with a staffie/pitbull/general bull breed. Any dog when not socialised, is a menace to society but a powerful dog in the hands of a 'nutter' is scary. We found ourselves dogless and I deliberately chose to rescue a staffie because this breed seemed...
Re: Advice on aggressive cockerel please. It is a difficult one but this is what cockerels are like, not all of them but the ones I have encountered have been. We had to dispatch one a few years ago because my daughter was younger and it got to the stage where she didn't dare to play outside. He was impossible to deal with because we couldn...
Re: Free range issues! As others have said, it is all down to your attitude to risk. We let ours free range on about 3/4 of an acre and in more than ten years of chicken keeping, we have never had a fox visit during the day. We are in a rural area, surrounded by farms though and the farmers keep the fox population down. I...

Re: MushroomsI have been bought these kits as a present and have had at least three attempts now. Every time I got little white flies. I got about 6oz of produce from one of them and that was all.
Re: BeetrootI always set mine off in the greenhouse, 3 seeds to a 4" pot. I don't sow until around mid March though.
