we visited our friends 6 weeks ago and were given a dozen free free range eggs
Now we are in the process of getting chickens of our own so perhaps they were expensive freebies !

I love my slow cooker too. When I am in a baking mood its great to have the oven busy baking cakes while the slow cooker is getting dinner ready for me .

Just reading one of the other threads and see that a couple of you use the above product so do you think it better than shavings ? When we kept horses a few years ago this was what we used in the stables .I t was a good product as it broke down more quicky on the muck heap so that kept the heap more...

slightly under ripe fruit is usually best to use but when you have a glut beggars cant be choosers eh ? In Asda they have two different sugars for jam making and it tells you on each bag which to use with which fruit and that gets round the pectin question. My Victoria plums aren't ripe yet everythi...

well done you for taking the ex batts on hope it goes smoothly . You are certainly a better person than me (Annie) cos I wwould be feeling a little less than friendly at the moment. we had hedgehogs at the bottom of our garden a couple of years ago, trouble was when we let Paddy the springer out for his bedtime pee he used to find it and carefully carry it back in and leave it in the middle of the lounge! Don't know if he thoought the hog was cold or just another crazy toy mumm...

Anyone able to inflict such pain and distress to an animal surely is only one step away from doiing the same to a vulnerable human.
