Re: How big are chicks at 21 days?

I agree I too am horrified and so was she but straight away she has told them they're not going to be culled, I never knew such a thing happened. But not sure I can take them, i definitely haven't bargained on taking another 11 and 5 or 6 could be males. By the time I was to have them I still wouldn...

Yes after hatching, well I don't know anything about little ones, I haven't agreed yet but she's already putting on the pressure,"mum you can't let them die" }hairout{ .
Presume theyl need to be separate from the big girls until they're bigger, Ill have to look into it.

How big are chicks at 21 days?

Where my daughter works they have paid to have eggs in an incubator so they can watch chicks develop, then after 21 days you can either keep the chicks or return them and they cull them, how awful. She had nothing to do with this as shes new there. Well she's already told them I'll have the chickens...

Re: Which Orpington to go for?

I love the black too, I had one but she died when she had the respiratory infection, they are gorgeous, I was erring on the side of getting another black but wondering why she was the cheapest (the lavender was £45 but the breeder said I could have her for £30 as she makes a strange noise, has done ...

Re: Lucy's crop

Hi, Longbridge is an area in Birmingham, there's a fishing tackle shop there and yes they sell them at the moment but are closed on a Monday afternoon, I can't find the name of them on the net and can't recall it but if you want I will pass it tomorrow and get the number. You could see if you could ...

Re: Which Orpington to go for?

It's very tempting but can't really afford it, the black and lavender are £30 each and the White is £45. A lotta money.

Which Orpington to go for?

Waiting for an Orpington to come along is like waiting for a bus, you wait for ever for one then 3 come along at once. I wanted to introduce an Orpington when I pick up my ex-bats but couldn't get one locally, then found 2 suppliers with 3 types. So which to chose, a black, lavender or White? What d...
