Hi,My coup is inside a herris fencing pen with wire roof and plastic sheeting on top,the girls are still taking dust bath's,it only gets wet around the first couple of feet.no grass of course but cleaning is easy

I wouldn't worry anne if she is eating and drinking ok,my three girls all sleep in the nest boxes and never on the perches.

I had the same a few weeks ago but the fox took my frieda now i have the girls behind herris fencing sides and roof,panels are about 2 mts high and 3 mts long,easy to erect and about £25 a panel,got mine of a local civil engineerig company they were slightly bent but a 5 minuet job to put right

annie be carefull when a fox took my frieda last month i was deverstated if you remember it was daylight and i was in the garden with the girls,it happened that fast i now don't let the girls out they are in a pen of herris fencing with a wire roof.my three girls that are left have lost all there sp...

as i said 3 o clock and i was with them in the garden,it's not worth the risk it's an awfull thing to see,and so fast my girls will stay in their pen from now on.i can't go through this again it's devastating.

thanks to you all for the support.the girls pen is 20foot by 10 foot with a wire roof but the 4 girls we have (Sorry had)just love to come in the garden when i am in.we live in a busy village on a main road next to the local park so everyone be carefull.

thanks for your comments but i feel so guilty,but frieda loved to free range when i was in the garden,in to everything,i only whent in to sweep up the leaves ,bless her

i was in the garden with our girls when a fox jumped the 5 foot fence and grabed frieda by the head and whent back over the fence,the b...... was'nt in the garden more than 10 or 15 seconds,it was 3 o clock in the afternoon and i was only 5 meters away from her when she was taken.no more letting out...

our's were the same when we first got them florence was under attack all the time,we started spreding the treets about so that the girls had to seperate to get them.they were fine in the end but it took a few weeks,amazing how nasty they can be with each other.now florence is the top bird and runs t...

Hi azza and welcome,sounds ok to me ,plenty big enough all i would say is that if you intend leaving the girls out all day,you will have to build a run to keep any local dogs ect out,allso fox'es are everywere now even inner cities,my run is 6 foot high and has a top on all made from herras fencing....
