Runner Duck walking problemMy Runner duck Frank got stuck yesterday between a log and the fence. When I rescued him he wasnt walking properly- he was walking on his "Elbows" or knees instead of just his feet. As a result his tail end is dragging on the floor. In this very wet weather I have brought him in and bathed...

Re: broody troublesThanks Stace...
It cant have been more than 3 hours- may not have been that long- so she is sat firmly on them now. I think I will leave them to it for now and move her nearer the hatch time and keep fingers crossed. Where she is now is cosy for her in this weather. thanks
broody troublesMy Mrs Miggins is very broody- so yesterday I gave her some fertile eggs- she has only been sat for a day and came out of her cat box in the main run for some food but accidentally shut the door behind her. She therefore went to bed in the big house, leaving her eggs. That was for about 3 hours..wil...

Re: Fresh Start For Hens Rehoming 31st MarchHi
She needs to keep an eye on the Fresh Start for Hens website and when they announce the next date (I have read May- not 100% though) she can register and make her donation. she will then get details and info on where to go and when they are collectable. |
