Re: blithering shellsl!!!

I also find that if you crack the hardboiled egg shell all over, then slide a tsp carefully under the shell, with the curve of the spoon bowl flat against the curve of the egg, this usually works too.

Re: What to do with a propagator?

Oooo Thank you LL Lots of good tips and information. I didn't think about some things not liking warm roots - That's a good point. I thought it was just a way of starting things off early. Chilli and sweet corn sound fun. I might give them a go When we eventually get the chance of a bit of sun .sn<

Anyone have any suggestions please? It's 38 x 24cm with an 8 watt heater So not very big. I just wondered if I could gi...

Funny white stuff?

It looks a bit like dry ash. My black hen has lost a few little random fluffy feathers. Has this anything to do wi...

Re: Any tasty slow cooker recipes out there please ?

Hiya - I did this whole chicken recipe and in literally melted in the mouth. Then put the carcass and other inedible bits back in with water and some veg and left to slow cook overnight. It made some lovely stock. I even picked out the veg and whizzed it up for the base of a yummy soup. Nothing wast...
