shavings are ok,i use shredded paper easy to remove,sticks to the eggs sometimes but i just wash them off.hope this helps.mellx

whenever you get a curry thats too hot,just add sugar,takes the heat down a treat!!.also if your mouth is on fire from curry or chillies just have a spoonful of sugar!!

dont worry too much,my hens have a steep ladder to the middle and they cope with it fine!! just think what they will be getting....compared to where they came from eh!!it will seem like heaven to them im sure.keep your chin up.mellx

undercoated mine then glosed it,keeps it free from wee etc soaking through,just leave coop open for a few days before you put chooks back in because of the fumes.lino ok but you can get redmite which will crawl underneath!.hope this helps you.mellx

hi everybody just thought id ask whereabouts i can get woodchip for my girls?been to b and q etc ,and all they do is wood bark not the woodchip that i need.i dont know any tree surgeons so i need to find a store that sells it!! i live in eastbourne east sussex.many thanks for any help,mell.
