t sounds like fun! It's been cold and wet in Nova Scotia for the past week too, I had put my winter thermals away but they're back again. As you say things in the garden doing well so long s slugs are deterred!

At the Hartford, Conn., USA public library there are garden volunteers who came up with this idea to encourage reading. I think we could do that and more with children or grandchildren, from the planting to the reading space and onward to harvest time with seeds offered to wild birds or the chickens...

The ones on the bottom grow down nearly to the ground, and the ones on the top will come over the side a bit to bear tiny fruit. +f+

Utility companies! If only their CEO's took a pay cut, I don't mind legitimate rises but wht I see is gouging by execs at the same time. Glad the mini-oven is working out, I found that our new microwave is so much better than the old one, both in energy usage and in cooking quality.
