hi all of my big girls moluted before christmas and looked awful. One of my white stars comb sort of shriveled and went pink. I thought she was,nt going to make it. They also stopped laying. They are all 3 half years old now. I fed them their normal pellets and corn, also porridge with poultry spice...

The best change was to put a permenant roof on, it kept the run floor dry and shaded the girls. Just recently my lovely hubby built a fence to split the bottom garden from the top so the girls can roam down the bottom on the grass and are kept well away from my veg patch which is up the top of the g...

Richnrach so sorry bout your sad news, hope every thing goes well in the future x

Went the sw thursday and lost half a pound bit dissappointed as been really good but still going in the right direction.
All my good work might carry over til next week hopefully

well done Wendy You,ve cured the problem thats the main thing yuk i hate maggots reminds me of when i was young and my dad used to keep them in an old fridge in the garage and me n my sister used to dare each other to open it and look and the wriggling nasty things By the way my dad was a fisherman ...

i have tomatoes in the greenhouse and outside the greenhouse in a sunny spot...the out door ones have split but my green house ones are fine......as you say must by the heavy rain....wondered why this was

Thanks li-lo It will be just my luck to insure on 12 month one and they get an on going problem.....but i will definately insure which ever way i choose. I try to feed the the best food you can buy.....the are currently on Iams dry kitten food and love it.....i have never given them wet food.They ha...

Thanks for the replys.

As Richard says its a chancy thing.....the vet did say go for lifetime cover instead of 12 months but its what you can afford at the end of the day

Still going to hold off for a couple of days to think it through...

Hi

I am with lucy....i initially mixed corn and layers pellets and they threw the pellets out and ate the corn........so now the have layers mash in the morning and corn late afternoon

Just had a look and got a quote from T****O and for two cats standard cover was £7.70...extra cover was £11.70....
Standard insures up to £2500
Extra up to £4000....and thats 12 month policy with excess on both is £50.....

But which is best?
