MY father in law must be the tightest bloke in Britain, if he found a sticking plaster in the gutter he would cut himself so that he could use it!
He even went on holiday to France and took wine with him !

I've suspended both feeder and drinker in my run without problem so far, no visible swinging (!) And no contamination of either. In my opinion, if they are off the ground then there is less chance of vermin interfering or food wastage.
