Hi Annie i payed more than i got back this year ,its my first year ,i enjoy doing my garden find it very theraputic,i enjoy the taste of my own veg knowing they are free of chemicals and fertilizers.They may not be as big or look as perfect as supermarket ones but i guarentee they do taste better .R...

What i do with mine is once they fall to the ground early next month,out of husk lay out somewhere warm and dry to ripen 3-4 weeks.Nut is white and bitter when they first fall,needs to be brown and sweet .Once ripe keep in onion sack so air can get to them .I have a small handfull every day usually ...

Have had to isolate the offending hen this morning (saterday),yesterday it was actually draging the hens around the run by there feathers,bought some anti pecking spray and thought it had done the trick but no she was back to her old ways yesterday .Do i keep her insight of the other chickens or out...

Many thanks to everyone,am removeing male flowers ,only one female on at moment,have removed the affected leaves,and am cutting down the watering to let the compost dry out a little before i water.I am still going to feed once a week as fruit now comeing on ,will let you know how they progress.Thank...

Thanks for advice is my first year growing cues so not to sure ,have read you need to take male flowers off or they will be bitter,didnt know if that was for my type of cue.
