Re: Garden v chickens

I can think of an easier solution to that problem than building a run ... first catch your chicken... (it'd take a while with your lot, but by the end of the summer, you'd have your garden back)

Re: Walk In Run - what do you do for a base?

I'm pretty sure this question has come up before & that the answer is that red mite live in the coop rather than in the run, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Garden v chickens

It will all be fine in a few months' time, you'll wonder what you ever worried about! As long as they have access to enough outside space during daylight hours (Mo and Madchick put the measurements up earlier on I think) then they will be fine. It won't stop them 'asking' to be let out, but they wil...

Re: Garden v chickens

I'm penning mine up in Spring Really?! Bubbles ... is your coop not attached to your run? To my mind, that would be easiest - then you just have to open the coop & let them out in to the run this morning. Didn't notice how many chooks you have, but I wouldn't fancy having to catch my lot & ...

Re: Cayenne Pepper as a med?

I know someone with immune problems who takes turmeric capsules regularly, and he swears they help him to ...
