Re: Aldies mealwormWe looked in Al....is this morning, but no mealworms for sale. Another shop local to Yorkshire had Mealworm crumbs at £3.99 for a largish bag, wasn't sure about them, so didn't buy. Anyone else tried them? They looked like crushed mealworms.
Re: Oh no, help please =(Glad she's going on all right Lisa. I got purple spray when we first got the girls, but haven't needed it yet, and am so glad Al gave the tip about wearing gloves, as I haven't read the instructions.
Re: Nest BoxAll the best with you hens.
Re: Small eggJust cracked the tiny egg, a bit of white, and a smear of yolk, not enough for our pudding tonight. Today only had two eggs from my three girls.

So before they go to bed, I put fresh newspaper on the shelves, and spread straw on top. Lizzie moves all her straw to one end of the shelf, and sleeps at the othe...
Re: Garden incineratorsThis morning, OH decided to have a go at the incinerator. He is extremely handy, and started with small lengths of dexion uprights, which he has formed into a cube. More dexion for the floor area, and he is using more half way up to enclose the straw and paper. I am impressed, and am confident that ...
