I moved a massive Ark Duck House today, had to do it my own because every one bailed on me!

I would definatley raise it off the floor on legs so the bottom has good airflow around. Maybe close the vent so there is a gap for air but so it isnt fully open. You could leave the vent open in the day and then close at night.

Yes I know. They are used to each other as they have been together since chicks/ducklings. The lady who gave me them said the chickens dont bother with the bath.

Forgot to say the hens and cockerel are Pure Breed Cream Crested Legbars, and the Ducks are just a Mallard type. Not sure of the exact breed but lovely birds.

I grow them in toilet roll holders, that way I can plant them straight into the ground, roll an all! Saves disturbing the carrot seedling.
