Thanks Anna B. Glad to see I am not the only over protective Mum LOL.
We not only have foxes where we live, but there is a badger set on our land too and although it is nice to see them I dont want them to get to know my ladies too well, if you get my jist.

Well I have to ask guys, where are chooks ears please? I know I should maybe know, but I dont My eggs have varied in colour from white right through to quite dark brown. All smooth textured though. They taste good too

They are home! Apparently the chap picked them up from Leicestershire yesterday,brought to Lincolnshire and then we picked them up this a.m. so they have done an awful lot of travelling in 24 hours. Like it says, picking them up tomorrow mid morning. Cant wait. Everything almost ready, just a little bit more to do on the wire, but we will be keeping them in the barn for a few days just so they get accustomed to us and their surroundings first. Will try to get daughter to take piccies real soon
