I hope you have found the rat/s LL. Bad enough when you know there is a mouse around. I always know if I have a mouse in the airing cupboard, as I have a humane trap in there, and the stink is unbelievable for such a tiny creature. Years ago when we lived next door to a working farm, with the fold y...
Sorry you have had such a grim time Gwen. Just getting through the days is very hard sometimes.
Just got my computer back, with a too large bill, after it packed up. Last week, it was my TV!
I am still waiting to plant three bramble plants. We have a frost almost every morning for a couple of weeks, which has damaged a few shrubs. My seeds are sprouting in the greenhouse, hollyhocks, lupins etc.
I had my first jab on February 8th, and am waiting to hear about the second one. Different people have waited different times for it, which seems to depend on the place of vaccination, and which doctor's surgery they attend. My oldest son and I had no bad effects post jab, but my two younger sons ha...

These were cuttings which Ted took several years since, and I don't want to lose them, but they are so hungry for water in the summer. One of the pots was hiding a bramble briar, which I managed to dig up, and pot u...
I found some berberis growing in a clump of something else. We got rid of the one in front of the downstairs toilet window, but it has started shooting again, so that is a task waiting. My pink camellia is full of buds, and some have already opened. The bramble is back in the wash house for the night.
Because of a frost warning, the bramble has spent a second night in the wash house. I have cut back some roses in the churchyard, and also in my garden, just hoping I haven't killed them off! Edged two flower beds, and removed some dead grass around one of my roses. Everything is springing into life...
