I am just going to leave them bee - pun intended!

The colony is obviously healthy enough and the continuing good weather is allowing them to be out foraging for additional stores for the winter.

There are bees across the lane from me. I'd noticed that I was getting buzzed walking up the drive and realised that they are going for some ivy in the hedge.

This time of the year, bees are happy with anything they can get. The summer flowers are dying off so ivy is a good option. Also, heather, which is in flower at the minute is another autumn favourite with them.
