At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)
At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)In 16 years I've seen hedgehogs twice only in my garden, the last time about six years ago.
Last Autumn I was busy and made three hedgehog houses and stacked loads of branches I'd lopped down in a huge stack at the back. I walked out the door this morning and found this in front of me !! Yes, it's a bit urrgh., but he or she had obviously been at some pips somewhere. Knopwing they poo every 20 - 30 feet I searched and found some more in the hedgerow. So I'm hoping the Lane is once more a Hedgehog Highway Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)Not the poo ....... but the fact you have hedgehogs. Re: At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)Very pretty colours for poo, Richard. LOL
We have no poo and no hedgehogs and there are loads of places where they can go, so a bit disappointed. Funnily enough when we lived in the middle of town on a housing estate we always saw them. Re: At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)
Yes. Hardly see them here, but at MIL's on the outskirts of Beverley saw a lot, in the back garden or wandering along the pavement*. Maybe there are more places to hide here. Or I walked home at night when I stayed there, use the car here. *only one at a time, not like a gang of teenagers. But some were bigger than others. Re: At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)I am lucky to have a female living under my work shed, and see them in the evenings when they set the security lights off. They are very fast and climb the steps up to the top garden.alsohave abig bore that visits now and again.think he's the close's casanover.
angie
why is it these days that common sense and common decency aren't that common?????
Re: At last, some poo (urgghy picture!!)That's great. They can get up a speed can't they.
I heard mine last night but couldn't get a sighting in the hedgerow. I made a better platform around one side of my pond yesterday just in case they decide to have a dip, which they do!! Let's hope all this is a sign of some population improvement. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
