Could anyone please advise how to get the last of the toms to go red before we pull the plants out for the winter - I think the sun is finished.
Is it something like putting them in a brown paper bag with a banana?

Re: green tomatosYes, a ripe banana. I think you're supposed to keep them in the dark.
Alternatively you could make green tomato chutney or fried green tomatoes. Karen
