I just drink it as it comes - although it's nice with amaretto too :oops:

I made sloe gin for the first time this year after my BIL did some the year before. Opened it for Xmas, and it was delicious! Still have a bit left to enjoy.

Ours has nearly gone but still have some frozen sloes in the freezer. The orange brandy is looking a bit depleted as well. It was very much enjoyed. )hic(

he

Time to get them out and into the gin then, They are not doing any good in the freezer. No point buying expensive gin to make sloe gin; use cheap stuff the sugar and sloes add the extra flavor.

My dh forgets that he likes sloe gin, so every year I drink most of it & then he realises he quite likes it when it's mostly gone {rofwl}
