DaveDaveWe bought the bourgainvillia in last evening as they said there was going to be frost.
Of course daft Dave has eaten some of the leaves. Boy is he unwell Sick last night and during the night bloody muscus, not even diarrhoea !. He isn't at all well, obviously a tummy ache. Checked all the websites and they say mildly toxic. So he has had some kaolin stuff and no eating today. This dog always comes up with something different. Never thought he would do that though, as it has been in the house all winter and he hasn't touched ! http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning Re: DaveOh no! Poor Dave. I hope he feels better really soon.
I was watching the film K9 the other day - I thought of Dave Helen xx
3 children, 3 grandchildren, 3 chooks, 3 fish, a shrimp that thinks its a prawn and a dappy dog. http://www.acountrygrandma.blogspot.com Re: DaveSorry to hear about Dave, Wendy. Sounds like he is keeping you on your toes still, silly boy. I hope his tummy ache gets better quickly, but from what you have said about him previously I bet he wont learn from this. A HUGE for you all.
We have Molly, a cat who eats any plant/flowers she can get her mouth round, always has done and I believe always will, little monkey. Now I put plants in the bathroom and always keep the door closed.
Re: DaveHope dave feels better soon, they do eat some odd things. When I had my daughters dog for a couple of years she ate a bowl of pot pourii, gosh she was ill, ended up at vets with a drip up, never bought pot pouri since even though dog is back with daughter.
Re: DaveSo silly aren't they ? Why can't they be like chooks and know instinctively what is not good
He is brighter, but obviously has a tummy ache. Hasn't eaten anything and I scrambled 4 lovely eggs. But he hasn't been sick or had a funny tummy since early this morning, so hopefully it is going. I have mailed the vet and prepped him just in case I have to take him tomorrow. Which I will do if I get any more sickness etc. So http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

Re: Davesilly boy Dave, will you never learn ?
Maybe it smelt more tempting after being outside for a while, Wendy. Hope the vets isn't necessary for you both tomorrow. It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

Don't get your knickers in a knot..it solves nothing ~ just makes you walk funny Re: DaveHe certainly is brighter, in fact this morning he was wandering about, on the walk a bit. Whereas yesterday he was just by our side.
Sick a bit last night but nothing other than bile. The other end is still watery but not so bloody. So I think he is on the mend. I will try him with a little chicken this morning. My vet did give me the out of hours number for The Queen Mother Hospital at the vet college. Apparently they take the vets after hours problems. So it was nice to know I had it handy. He is still very quiet..... unlike him, as he like to sing, given the opportunity. But he is getting better Thanks http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

16 dogs and I can honestly say, I haven't had any like him before. He has just eaten his chicken, so we feel better now. http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
