Mouth ulcers help please

Post by p.penn »

I seem to have developed some rather painful mouth ulcers this week. Other than bought stuff like b*njela - is there anything else I can use to help? They are very sore.

Here's my cure and it works............. just painful for a few seconds.

Wet your finger tip, dip in salt, touch ulcer and keep it there 'til the soreness goes, then it will disappear.
100% works )t'

Hydrogen peroxide. Gargle with it and they will start healing right away...use about 3-4 times a day after you brush. Honestly, it is the best thing to use. I know A$DA sells it, but you want as full strength as you can get. Ask the pharmacist. Also salt-water helps ...a bit of salt mixed in warm water.
>mmm< I hope you feel better soon {hug}

Didn't know Steve was a massokist {rofwl} (thought that might be a forbidden word).
I was just about to say avoid salt and vinegar crisps at all cost Helen .
Why does it say on preparations to put in the mouth 'apply to a dry area' don't know about you but the inside of my mouth doesn't have a dry area .
Sorry Helen I dont know of any remedies at all so can only sympathise and wish they go away pdq - a little numbing refreshment tonight may alleviate the pain a bit )hic( {hug}
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

I've tried loads of remedies for mouth ulcers and the one that works for me is a used, cold tea bag. Pop it in your mouth, over the ulcer for as long as you can. It's not very elegant but at least it isn't painful. Apparently it is the tannic acid that cures the ulcer.
