HI Dave

Sometimes its less stressful to be in your own home!

He may get more rest in his own enviroment!

If you have any worries, as his son you could always speak with the doctors about your concerns and ask them exactly what they intend to do!
In my work i do hospitol discharges,so i see people like you dad each day! People just dont ask enough questions, and when they get home some dont even know what meds they are taking and why!

Dont be afraid to ask! )t'

All the best for bringing your dad home Dave, I am sure that he will be a lot more rested at home, hospitals are noisy and stressful places sometimes.

Keep us up to date

Sorry about all the troubles in the Dave household, good job you're all fit and healthy now, eh?

I'm sure your dad will be happier at home, and that will make him recover better. You don't get a wink of sleep in hospital with all the lights on and bustling about.

Good news that you dad is coming home, Has he been offered any "rehab" ?? When him indoors had his heart attack, he went to a cardiac rehab clinic every tuesday morning for 3 months. You had to take your partner or whoever with you. In the first part we learned about diet and excecise, and all about the different medications and what they were for, and we learned all about what causes a heart attack. It was good because when Owen lerned what had actually happened, and why, he was not so scared. Then we all had a nice cup of tea and did excercises after.
We kinda missed it once it finished, it was nice being with people who were in the same boat, very supportive.
I think Owen liked being the youngest too, lots of grannies making a huge fuss of him.

he is home i have just spoken to him
he is a bit tired
but other than that he feels fine
he said that the hospital could find nothing wrong
it must have been a blip in the system
and all the normal stuff like take it slow for a few weeks
i will leave todays visit so he can rest
but next weekend it will be a family +dogs visiting for the day
that way i can have a sort out in his garden otherwise he will be doing it himself!

Sorry about your dad, Dave.

Sorry, I don't know the answer but it's horrible when you have to wait like this when your dad's health is a worry.

Hope everything works out for him.
