Hen Rehomers UK

Post by bluebell »

Hi folks -

HEN REHOMERS UK rehome ex-battery hens. These endearing little hens make lovely additions to the family :-D Why not visit our website - www.henrehomers.net

On there you will find an application form to be completed, we ask for a donation of £1.50 per hen. This goes towards not only getting hens out of cages but towards the travelling expenses to the many collection points we have.

If anyone has any questions, or would like to help with future rescues, please PM me.

Thank you! )t'

The ex batts are wonderful and it is fantastic to see them enjoying a normal life after their terrible start in life. The rescuers do a marvellous job and give so many girls a lovely life. We have just rescued 4 more in the May rescue and they have fitted in really well with all our girls, including the other ex batts. At least you feel you are making a small difference.

We are very fortunate to have some lovely rehomers who offer these smashing little hens a loving, permanent home. )t'

We have had several hens from the ex-batt rescue and it is wonderful to see them enjoying the life they were meant to live. We have just lost two girls so may be getting two more from the next rescue. Will go to the website.

Hi, Has anyone managed to get a successful confirmation for tomorrow's re-homing?

We were accepted for the 24th July (Ipswich), made the donation, but its gone quiet despite sending a couple of emails {cry}

Guess everyone could be busy...but hate to miss this re-homing :(

Thanks for your help,

Tim.

Hi Tim.
Welcome to the forum.
Yes it is going ahead. I think you will probably be hearing from your co ordinator during today, to confirm what time to pick up the birds.
There is an awful lot of arranging to do and the final preperations I would think are now in place.
We are picking up the van this evening, collecting crates from our co ordinator and up at 5.30am tomorrow, all ready to go.

Thanks for the reassurance! Had a reply from "freshstartforhens@btinternet.com" saying we're on the Ipswich list. So hope to hear from the Ipswich co-ord.

Hope it all goes well and good luck with the re-homing.

Thanks, Tim.
