Durham area - loving home for two girls
Re: Durham area - loving home for two girlsThey're currently exploring the raspberry patch and have caught some grasshoppers
Re: Durham area - loving home for two girlsThat's my girls
Just watch out for frogs! Thank you Cat, they look quite content
Re: Durham area - loving home for two girlsAt least you have a raspberry patch! My lot got in and now it's a raspberry stump patch
Great to see the girls settled in to their new home with a handsome hunk to admire, and as people have said, don't feel as though you have to go from the forum altogether Karen

I am looking for 2chickens for myself and 2grand children to have as pets. I have a perfect set up here and they would have free run of the garden. The only problem is that I live in Wetherby West Yorkshire! Could you deliver? Regards Fleet Re: Durham area - loving home for two girlsHi Fleet ..you're not having much luck here are you...Mollybobs has already rehomed these to Cat's home.

As Manda says, my two are now very happily living with Cats brood. Sorry, hope you have some luck in the future. Oh, and free run of the garden? Good luck with that It would take 2 chickens a couple of days to totally, shall we say, 'redesign' your garden!
Re: Durham area - loving home for two girlstrue...
I have a fairly large allotment and initially had 6 bantam chickens... it's *amazing* how fast they stripped knee high weeds to scrubby patches... now I have odd patches of nettles and that's about it unless I fence it off lol
