Countryfile - Sun 13th. June

Post by Richard »

There's a feature on setting up a Smallholding amongst other things.

Tonight's programme contents are here = http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00stbj7

What an interesting prime time programme this has become.

I have always loved this programme....although I did prefer the old set up when it was at lunch time but not the time. This and Antiques Roadshow is a perfect Sunday evening for me.

Sounds interesting Richard will watch tonight.
I've got to say I also preferred the old lunchtime show. I do not understand why they had to change most of the presenters. The BBC once again got rid of the older female presenter and changed to a younger (arguably more attractive) woman who seems to me to be a bit scared of the animals. They also seem to have downsized John Cravens role.

The programme didn't really take off for me last night, I usually thoroughly enjoy it.
Maybe too much sea and not enough country! Interesting about sea pollution, that's quite scary.

I enjoyed the piece about the Animal (mainly bird) rescue though and seeing the ducks being set free.

I missed the programme yesterday.

I like the set up of the programme, I understand what was said about John Craven not being the main presenter, as it where, but perhaps this is his doing.

I like Matt, Adam and Julia. Think they are excellent for this programme.
