Call the Midwife

I have loved this right from the first episode, and have read some of the books. The way this ended I cannot think how it can be carried on, certainly not with the Jenny Lea character leaving for good. Why can't there be more programmes on that aren't detectives / thrillers / reality trash? This was just good entertainment!
