If a man is alone in the garden and speaks, and there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?

Re: diy confusionIt's not a fuse box, as you don't have fuses, it's a consumer unit containing miniature circuit breakers, residual current devices and main switches.
But if you're really old you'll call it a fuse box Some days you're the pigeon, some days you're the statue.
Re: diy confusionWe have an old fashioned fuse box. When we were having the central heating done there was a bit of headscratching "no, not allowed to touch that, not up to modern standards"
OTOH my husband says he doesn't trust the newfangled consumer units since (if you are working on a circuit) you can't remove the fuse and take it away. A friend of his was working in the loft and his wife thought the circuit breaker had flipped out so she flipped it in again Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

He should have remembered to use duct tape! Once his wife was securely fastened to a chair there would have been no way she could have flipped the switch. Nick Visit us at the the Living Well On A Shoestring Blog at http://tinyurl.com/a5hdujt Helping you live better on less!
