Well the quotes varied in price to say the least! The most expensive was just under £1,000 and the cheapest was £300. Steve, if you are ever brave enough to cross the border to Essex, there's a job waiting for your expertise! >fi<

It obviously depends on requirements but that sounds very expensive.

Freecycle is a good place to get a free sink and tap.

If not they are not expensive new.

I thought that too. It was going to be situated in the garage but the quotes I had were for it to be fitted in my small utility room which just has my washing machine and tumble dryer in. I was told that they could use the cold feed to my washing machine as I didn't really need hot water and I only asked for a cheap sink and tap, not even a drainer.

Buy the sink you want and ask for a fitting price, but face to face.
