Ah, the welcome rain!Ah, the welcome rain! After several days of dry weather accompanied by wind, we woke up to rain today. What a relief. All the water we siphoned out of our barrels was wasted, but storage was not possible. No watering for a couple of days, and no watering the newly sown grass outside our church extension.
Re: Ah, the welcome rain!Rain here as well, which I'm glad about. I did some replanting and sorting the flower beds out yesterday, now it's a day indoors while the man, errr woman, gender neutral here, upstairs waters it all for me.
Ilona Re: Ah, the welcome rain!Another here happy about it raining as all our water butts were empty. We use a lot of water as the hay for the horses is soaked each day too, that's apart from watering the plants.
Re: Ah, the welcome rain!Had rain and thunder yesterday, whenthe skies just opened. Misty this morning and now sunshine.
All the plants look so much happier for it, I am now a widow and live with my memories.
Re: Ah, the welcome rain!We had some rain and heavy winds during the night but this morning no wind and muggy again !
